Inspired by the journey of Hannah, who was born with Trisomy 18, The Village was founded to create a nurturing community for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). After Hannah's schooling ended, her family recognized the urgent need for a supportive environment, leading to the establishment of The Village in December 2016.
The Village fosters a respectful and caring atmosphere where individuals with I/DD can develop practical skills and engage socially through enriching activities.
