Our Story

Vida Verde Nature Education is dedicated to promoting educational equity by providing free overnight environmental learning experiences for students from historically marginalized communities. Since 2001, thousands of youth have benefited from our core program—a transformative three-day, two-night camping trip taken as a class during the school year. In addition, our Teen and Family program offers a week-long leadership summer camp and year-round activities, fostering a deep connection to nature and community.
