Empowering Students in Vickery Meadow

Founded in 2007 by visionary leaders John and Barbara Neill, the Vickery Meadow Youth Development Foundation (VMYDF) is dedicated to empowering students in the Vickery Meadow neighborhood. Recognizing the potential within these young individuals, VMYDF has developed programs that nurture academic growth and provide essential resources. The EAGLE Scholars college readiness program was established to support higher-achieving students, filling a critical gap in local educational offerings.

Making a Lasting Impact

Since its inception, VMYDF has awarded over $1.5 million in scholarships, benefiting more than 300 EAGLE scholars. Currently, 63 scholars are pursuing their college education, while 39 have proudly graduated with four-year degrees.
