Via Care Community Health Center

Our Story

Founded in 2010, Via Care Community Health Center emerged to combat the growing healthcare access crisis for low-income residents in East Los Angeles. Initially part of the Bienvenidos multi-service center, the clinic began as a small facility with just one medical provider serving 2,600 patients. In 2015, it achieved federally-qualified health center status, becoming an independent entity with its own Board of Directors and rebranding as Via Care Community Health Center. Today, it stands as a full-service 501(c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), dedicated to providing culturally and linguistically appropriate health and wellness services to all ages.
