The Veterinary Orthopedic Society (VOS) was established in Davos, Switzerland, in 1970, inspired by the need for an American counterpart to the European Veterinary Orthopedic Organization. Since its inception, VOS has grown from a small gathering of 33 attendees at its first annual meeting in 1974 to a thriving community of veterinary orthopedic professionals.
VOS is dedicated to improving patient care through collaboration among individuals engaged in orthopedic practice, teaching, and research.
