Our Story

Founded in 2013 by U.S. Marine Corps veteran Buck Adams, Veterans to Farmers (VTF) emerged from the success of Circle Fresh Farms, which became Colorado's largest organic greenhouse grower. Recognizing the need for veterans to find purpose and community, VTF was established to provide agricultural training and education. With a dedicated team, including Program Director Richard Murphy, VTF has cultivated a supportive environment where veterans can learn essential farming skills and contribute to local food security.

Our Impact

Veterans to Farmers has successfully trained over 150 veterans, helping them transition into civilian life through hands-on agricultural education. Each year, VTF program students grow 10,000 lbs of food, fostering a sense of community and purpose among participants. With over 400 veterans applying to the program, VTF continues to make a significant impact in the lives of those who have served.
