Our Story
Jay, a dedicated United States Army Veteran and a 20-year firefighter, faced homelessness after bravely serving his country and community. As a first responder at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, Jay's life changed forever. Struggling with Post Traumatic Stress and Substance Use Disorder, he found himself in need of support.
Our Impact
Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania has created a unique village of 15 tiny homes, surrounding a community center, specifically designed for Veterans experiencing homelessness. This therapeutic community model fosters camaraderie, personal responsibility, and healing.
