Transforming Lives Through Agriculture

The Veterans Farm of North Carolina (VFNC) is dedicated to helping veterans transition into farming as a meaningful and self-sustaining career. Founded by former Marine Robert Elliott, VFNC provides extensive training and mentorship programs to equip veterans with the skills and knowledge needed to become successful farmers. This organization serves as a vital link between the military and agricultural sectors, recognizing the immense potential veterans have in contributing to North Carolina's agricultural industry.

Making a Lasting Impact

Over the past seven years, VFNC has worked with over 1,000 beginning Farmer Veterans, creating the largest community of actively-farming veterans in the U.S. The organization has played a crucial role in preventing suicides among veterans and has trained many in essential agricultural skills, positively impacting their lives and communities.
