Our Story

The Vestal Volunteer Emergency Squad was founded in 1975 by Terry Beishline and a dedicated group of volunteers. With a vision to provide essential emergency services, VVES began operating alongside the Police Department. By 1976, they achieved independent certification, marking the start of a legacy of community service. Over the years, VVES has expanded its capabilities, including the establishment of Advanced Life Support services and the construction of a new headquarters in 2022, enhancing their ability to serve the community.

VVES delivers critical emergency medical services to the Town of Vestal and surrounding areas, operating without taxpayer support and relying solely on patient billing and private donations.
