Our Story
The Very Little Theatre (VLT) was founded in 1929 by passionate theatre enthusiasts in Eugene, Oregon, as part of the Little Theatre Movement. Overcoming economic challenges like the Great Depression and World War II, VLT has become one of the oldest continuously-operating community theatres in the United States. This membership organization thrives on the dedication of volunteers, aiming to entertain, educate, and inspire through the transformative power of theatre.
