Our Story

The Verona Community Food Pantry is an independent, all-volunteer nonprofit dedicated to alleviating hunger in Augusta County, Staunton, and Waynesboro, Virginia. With over 150 dedicated volunteers, VCFP serves an average of 2,196 clients each month, distributing over 1.2 million pounds of food annually.

Impact

In 2023, VCFP experienced a remarkable 55% increase in clients served in the last quarter compared to the previous year, highlighting the growing need for food assistance in the community.
