Founded in 1984 by artists Fred Osborne, Jon Gregg, and Louise von Weise, Vermont Studio Center began as the Vermont Studio School. Renamed in 1990, VSC has grown into a vibrant community that includes a Writers’ Residency, welcoming artists and writers from around the globe.
