Our Story

The Vermillion Community Food Pantry was established in 1984 at Trinity Lutheran Church, beginning with a single volunteer serving 34 guests. Over the years, it has evolved into a vital nonprofit organization, officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) in 1998, and now serves over 8,000 residents annually.

Impact

In 2021, the pantry provided essential food assistance to over 8,000 individuals in Clay County, significantly alleviating hunger and promoting self-sufficiency.
