Our Story

The Verland Foundation was founded by three dedicated women—Nancy, Theo, and Carol—who were inspired by their love for their children with disabilities. The name 'Verland' is a heartfelt tribute to the founders' children. What began with a generous donation of land has blossomed into a thriving organization that supports over 200 individuals with intellectual and physical challenges.

Verland is committed to providing person-centered care that enhances the quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities. With 37 Community Living Arrangement homes and specialized Signature Homes, Verland meets the evolving needs of its residents.
