Our Story

Founded in 2017 by Brandon P. Fleming, Veritas School of Social Sciences began as the Harvard Debate Council Diversity Project, aimed at increasing representation of Black and brown students in prestigious debate programs. The organization has since expanded its mission to provide rigorous academic training and professional skills development, ultimately aspiring to create an international boarding school for students of color.

Impact

Veritas has positively impacted over 500 local students, equipping them with the skills necessary to excel in higher education and beyond. Alumni have gained admission to prestigious colleges, significantly enhancing their earning potential and contributing to the economic mobility of the Black community.
