Our Story

The history of Veritas Classical Academy is a testament to God’s goodness and mercy. Founded in 2012, Veritas has blossomed into a vibrant community of families committed to raising their children through a Christ-centered, classical education. The journey began with Dr. Kim, whose passion for classical education was ignited by Douglas Wilson’s book, Recovering the Lost Tools of Learning. With unwavering faith and a prayerful heart, Dr. Kim, alongside two other families, sought God’s guidance to establish a school that would honor Him.

In a remarkable turn of events, what started as a humble prayer for ten students quickly grew to over thirty, and just two weeks before opening, a church facility in Brea was provided free of charge. This divine provision laid the foundation for a school that would impact countless lives.

The mission of Veritas Classical Academy is to disciple students to delight in, discern, and display the glory of God in Christ through classical, Christian education. This mission is not just a statement; it is a way of life that transforms students and families alike.
