The Verde Valley Trail Fund was established in 2021 by passionate local citizens dedicated to the maintenance and protection of our cherished trails. With a board comprising hikers, cyclists, runners, and equestrians, VVTF collaborates closely with local land managers to ensure sustainable trail use and preservation.
To date, the VVTF has raised over $605,000 to support the Verde Trails & Access Plan, which focuses on constructing new non-motorized trails and restoring lands affected by unmanaged recreational activities. Engaging volunteers and partnering with the U.S. Forest Service, VVTF enhances local trail systems for everyone to enjoy.
