Vera House, Inc. was established in 2005 through the merger of the Rape Crisis Center and Vera House, both dedicated to combating domestic and sexual violence. With over 40 years of experience, Vera House serves the Central New York community, offering vital services to those in crisis.

In 2017 alone, Vera House provided 8,949 shelter bed nights and conducted 3,310 individual counseling sessions, demonstrating a profound commitment to supporting survivors.
