Venture House

Our Story

Founded in 1987, Venture House began its journey at the local YMCA before moving to a dedicated facility with a historic stone front and a serene backyard garden. In 2017, a second location was established on Staten Island, expanding the reach of our vital services. With nearly 2,000 members served over the years, Venture House remains committed to welcoming new members every day of the year in Queens and most days on Staten Island.

Impact

Since inception, Venture House has positively impacted over 1,000 members, with an average daily attendance of 60. The Clubhouse model fosters better physical and mental health, reduces hospitalizations, and promotes community integration, leading to improved well-being for all members.
