Established in 1984, Vashon Island Pet Protectors, affectionately known as VIPP, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for companion animals on Vashon Island. This no-kill, non-profit organization is run by compassionate volunteers who provide shelter, food, and medical care to lost, abandoned, and relinquished dogs and cats. VIPP ensures that every animal receives the love and care they deserve while waiting for their forever homes.

Our Impact

Every dollar donated to VIPP directly supports the care of island animals in need of re-homing. With a commitment to a no-kill policy, VIPP has never euthanized an animal except on a veterinarian's recommendation to prevent suffering.
