Our Story

Vamos Adelante Foundation provides essential education, health, and nutrition services to families living at the base of Guatemala’s active Volcano Fuego. Founded in 1994 by Nina Joergensen, the organization addresses chronic poverty by serving 18 villages in the Escuintla region.

Impact

With the establishment of schools, health facilities, and educational programs, Vamos Adelante has significantly improved the living standards of families affected by poverty. Nine schools have been successfully launched and handed over to local communities, ensuring sustainability.
