Established in 1984, Valley Santa Inc. was born from a community-wide effort to provide toys to children in Luzerne County who would otherwise go without gifts during the Christmas season. Inspired by the Globe Santa initiative in Boston, this program has grown significantly, serving over 4000 children annually with the help of dedicated volunteers and local businesses.
Since its inception, Valley Santa has ensured that over 4000 children wake up to a toy on Christmas morning, thanks to the unwavering support of more than 300 volunteers and generous community donations.
