Our Story

The Valley Contractors Workforce Foundation was established to address the urgent need for skilled workers in the construction industry following the devastating Camp Fire in Butte County in 2018. The Hands On Tools Mobile Construction Training program was created to introduce construction as a viable career choice and provide essential training to individuals of all skill levels.

Impact

Since launching in early 2022, the program has successfully introduced construction careers to over 900 students and engaged more than 65 adults in meaningful community projects and volunteer builds.
