VALCORE Recycling, established in May 1981 by the City of Vallejo’s Beautification Advisory Commission, is a coalition of nonprofit organizations dedicated to providing recycling services and fundraising opportunities for local nonprofits. Initially open just one day a week, VALCORE now operates six days a week, accepting a wide variety of recyclable materials and offering public education programs.
