Vacaville Christmas Wish began over 40 years ago through the efforts of the Children’s Network and social workers at Solano County’s Children’s Shelter. The program aims to grant special wishes to low-income children during the Christmas season. Initially serving about 100 children, the program has expanded to fulfill the wishes of over 2500 children annually, thanks to the generous support of the community.
With community involvement, Vacaville Christmas Wish has successfully served every registered child in Vacaville, ensuring that thousands of low-income children receive gifts each holiday season.
