Since its incorporation in 1979, Utica Neighborhood Housing Service Inc (HOC) has been dedicated to revitalizing the Cornhill neighborhood and beyond. As a chartered NeighborWorks® Organization and a certified Community Development Financial Institution, HOC has expanded its services across six counties, addressing critical issues such as affordable housing, community safety, and economic development.

HOC's comprehensive approach integrates community resources and strategies for transformation, offering programs like homebuyer education, financial coaching, and foreclosure prevention. With nearly $110 million invested from 1996 to June 2013, and an anticipated additional $50 million over the next five years, HOC is committed to enhancing the quality of life in the neighborhoods it serves.
