Our Story

The Utica Food Pantry, established in 1982, has been a vital resource for residents of Utica, New York. Originally known as the Greater Utica Community Food Resource, it was renamed in 2016 to better reflect its mission of alleviating hunger in the community.

Our Impact

In 2021, the Pantry welcomed over 2,900 client visits, with more than half of those served being families with children. The Pantry's 10th Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway in 2022 provided over 1,000 turkeys and all the trimmings to local families in need.
