Our Story

Usher 1F Collaborative is a nonprofit foundation founded in December 2013, focused on funding medical research to find effective treatments for individuals with Usher syndrome type 1F, a condition that leads to profound deafness and progressive vision loss.

Impact

Since its inception, over $5 million in research grants have been awarded, co-funding nearly $9.2 million in partnerships, supporting 9 research labs and 12 treatments in development.
