Our Story
Founded in 1903, USC Arcadia Hospital began its journey with just five beds in a modest house in downtown Los Angeles. The Women's Home Missionary Society of the Southern California Conference of the Methodist Church recognized the need for quality healthcare and raised funds to establish a new facility. In 1915, a state-of-the-art 100-bed hospital was dedicated, marking a significant milestone as the first major hospital built in Los Angeles using reinforced concrete. Over the years, the hospital has expanded and relocated, proudly serving the San Gabriel Valley since 1957.
