Our Story

In 2012, a group of alcohol policy experts convened in Baltimore, Maryland, to address the need for a national voice on alcohol policy. This gathering led to the formation of the U.S. Alcohol Policy Alliance in 2014, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to transforming how America engages with alcohol.

Impact

USAPA is committed to decreasing the harmful effects of alcohol on individuals and communities. Through advocacy and education, significant public health discussions and policy changes have emerged, fostering a safer environment for all.
