Urgent Animals of Fort Worth

Our Story

Founded in 2017, Urgent Animals of Fort Worth began as a Facebook page dedicated to networking sick, injured, and unwanted shelter pets at Fort Worth Animal Care and Control. The success in finding adoptive homes led to the establishment of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, allowing for greater impact in saving animals.

Every year, hundreds of pets find loving homes or rescue organizations through the efforts of UAFW.
