Our Story

Urban Ministries of Wake County has been dedicated to serving the community since 1981. Formed by diverse faith congregations in downtown Raleigh, the organization addresses the critical needs of those affected by poverty through essential services such as food, shelter, and healthcare.

Impact

Each year, Urban Ministries serves over 32,000 residents in Wake County, with its food pantry assisting more than 42,000 individuals and the Open Door Clinic providing healthcare to over 1,500 uninsured adults.
