About the Urban League of Louisiana

Since 1938, the Urban League of Louisiana has been dedicated to assisting underserved communities in achieving economic self-reliance, parity, power, and civil rights. Originally serving Greater New Orleans, the organization expanded statewide in 2016, beginning in East Baton Rouge Parish and continuing to grow across Louisiana. With a focus on quality education, employment opportunities, and economic inclusion, ULLA operates through three Centers of Excellence: the Center for Education and Youth Development, the Center for Workforce and Economic Development, and the Center for Policy and Social Justice.
