Originally founded by concerned parishioners of St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral, the organization has evolved to meet the growing needs of the elderly community. In 1974, Urban Jacksonville was established as a dedicated division to enhance the quality of life for seniors, ensuring they can maintain their independence and dignity.
