Over the past twenty years, this grassroots effort has blossomed into a citywide movement, impacting over 50,000 youth, families, and partners across 80 Chicago Public Schools. By harnessing the power of sport, Urban Initiatives empowers Chicago’s youth to achieve academic success, develop essential social-emotional skills, and build lasting social capital.
