Founded in 2016 by Jessica Gutmann, Urban Cat Coalition emerged from a passion for helping community cats. After witnessing a large population of stray cats, Jessica began the Trapping, Neutering, and Returning (TNR) process with the Wisconsin Humane Society. In 2017, she partnered with fellow cat rescuers to officially incorporate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The mission is clear: create a no-kill community by addressing the homeless cat population in Milwaukee.
Through targeted trapping and support for community cat caretakers, Urban Cat Coalition significantly reduces the number of cats entering shelters, saving countless lives through our TNR program.
