Organizational Story

The Urasenke chado tradition has been cherished in Hawaii since before World War II, with the Hawaii chapter officially founded in 1951. As the first Urasenke chapter established outside of Japan, it celebrates over 70 years of tea practice, honoring the contributions of tea masters, practitioners, artists, and tradesmen.
