UR Community Cares was founded by Michelle Puzzo in 2019, inspired by her experiences as a physical therapist. She recognized that many patients needed assistance at home but lacked the financial means or eligibility for state programs. This realization sparked the idea of connecting volunteers with those in need within their communities. By creating a digital platform, UR Community Cares facilitates meaningful connections between volunteers and individuals requiring support, fostering a spirit of community and compassion.
