Our Story

Upstate Warrior Solution began in 2010 when a dedicated group of veterans and community leaders recognized the urgent need for improved access to services for the 100,000 veterans in the Upstate South Carolina region. With a vision to bridge the gaps in support infrastructure, UWS was incorporated in 2012 and became a 501(c)(3) organization in 2013. Headquartered in Greenville, UWS has expanded its reach to serve not only veterans but also first responders, ensuring comprehensive support for those who have served our communities.

Our Impact

Since its inception, Upstate Warrior Solution has positively impacted nearly 9,000 warriors and their families, providing essential services such as housing, employment, healthcare, and education. The organization has made significant strides in enhancing community-based care for veterans and first responders in the Upstate.
