Our Story

The Upper East Tennessee Human Development Agency (UETHDA) was established in 1973 through the merger of two Community Action Agencies, rooted in the Economic Opportunities Act of 1964. With a mission of 'Helping People, Changing Lives,' UETHDA provides education, direction, and support to strengthen and stabilize the community.
