Our Story
The Upper Darby Township and Sellers Memorial Free Public Library has been a cornerstone of the community since the 1930s. What began as a modest collection of 1,300 books in two rented rooms has blossomed into a vibrant library system with three branches and over 118,000 items available for borrowing. This library is dedicated to providing access to books, materials, and programs that foster lifelong education, personal growth, and creativity.
