Originally part of the Cecil County Health Department, UBCSS became an independent nonprofit in 1997, adapting to the evolving needs of the community. With a commitment to excellence, UBCSS achieved CARF accreditation in 2014, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Each year, UBCSS serves over 5,000 individuals facing behavioral and mental health challenges, while also providing community education to approximately 2,500 people.
