Our Story

Founded in 1989 by Dr. Jaime Yrastorza, Uplift Internationale began its mission to provide free cleft lip and palate surgeries to impoverished children in the Philippines. Each year, dedicated medical professionals and outreach volunteers return to deliver life-changing care through Operation Taghoy, ensuring that children receive the surgeries they desperately need.

Impact

Since its inception, Uplift Internationale has performed nearly 2,000 surgeries, allowing children to live free from stigma and pain. With up to 120 surgeries conducted annually, the organization relies on a passionate team of volunteers committed to making a difference.
