Uplift Center for Grieving Children
Established in 1995, Uplift Center for Grieving Children began as part of the Bereavement Program at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Recognizing the urgent need for accessible grief services, it became an independent nonprofit in 2000. Over the past 25 years, Uplift has expanded its offerings from a few support groups to a comprehensive suite of grief and mental health services, addressing the rising demand for quality support in Philadelphia.
