Our Story

University Temple Children's School, originally established as Temple Day Care Center in 1970, has evolved into a cornerstone of early childhood education in Seattle. Since becoming an independent nonprofit in 1982, UTCS has focused on providing reliable, low-cost childcare for families in the University District. After a successful relocation in 2020, UTCS continues to thrive, emphasizing a play-based, whole-child approach to learning.
