Our Story

The University Network for Human Rights emerged from a collaboration between undergraduate students at Stanford University and the Human Rights Clinic at its law school. This initiative was born out of a need for structured opportunities for students to engage in human rights practices, which were often absent from undergraduate education. By training students in human rights fact-finding, documentation, and advocacy, the organization amplifies the voices of communities affected by rights abuses.

Impact

Through its training programs, the University Network for Human Rights empowers students to conduct critical research and engage in impactful advocacy, promoting and defending human rights on a global scale.
