Inspired by a friendship with former Senator Tom Coburn, Brian Walter founded Unity Above Self in America to tackle the moral issues surrounding national debt and Congressional dysfunction. After a pivotal meeting in 2016, Walter recognized that merely electing better politicians would not suffice; instead, the incentives within Congress must be transformed. This organization champions the 'No Budget, No Pay' Act, aiming to reform Congress's pay structure and promote responsible budgeting.

Our Impact

Unity Above Self in America has made significant strides, securing unanimous support for the 'No Budget, No Pay' Act from Oklahoma's entire congressional delegation. This achievement positions Oklahoma as a leader in advocating for fiscal responsibility. Through media campaigns and personal outreach, the organization is working diligently to ratify this act as the 28th amendment to the U.S. Constitution by July 4, 2030.
