Our Story

In the early 1900s, Barbara and Henry Firestone opened their home to neighbors in need, embodying the spirit of generosity rooted in their Christian faith. This compassionate act led to the establishment of the United Zion Home for the Homeless in 1905, in partnership with the United Zion Church. Today, United Zion Retirement Community continues this legacy, providing a life plan community that supports residents, their families, and the broader community with a dedicated staff culture centered around love and care.
