Our Story

Founded in 1990, United We Stand of NY Inc is a community-based parent support program dedicated to serving culturally and linguistically diverse families with children and youth with disabilities. Initially focused on the Greenpoint and Williamsburg neighborhoods of Brooklyn, UWS has expanded its reach to families throughout Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens, and Harlem. Staffed by parents who understand the challenges faced by these families, UWS provides essential information and support to help navigate disability-related issues.
