Our Story

Since 1922, United Way of the Plains has united individuals and organizations to create lasting change for the people of South Central Kansas. By coordinating efforts among social agencies and private contributors, the organization addresses social conditions that lead to dependency and delinquency.

Impact

In 2023, United Way of the Plains made a difference over 2.5 million times, providing essential resources in health, education, financial stability, and basic needs. From supplying free books to preschool children to connecting families with vital services through the 211 Information & Referral program, the impact is profound.
